Reading Assignment : Chapter 2
Define: Saccade, Fixation
Chapter 2 is all about getting people to pay attention to you. The author pointed up a few points that are vital, saying the presenter should not give out too much information and text to the audience. It is okay to give out some hand outs, however, the presenter should not hand those out when they speak. Otherwise the audiences will only starting to read it instead of trying to listen.
One thing I found really interesting is that people from different culture will react and pay attention to things differently. Since I grew up in Aisa, I was taught to pay attention to the context instead of the object. When I was asked to look at the images of the cow, I do pay attention to the background more than the cow itself.
